The registration process for foreign players in the 9th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has commenced, and the PCB will soon finalize and release the category renewals for local players.

After this, the trade and retention window will be opened. The pick order for the player draft for the upcoming season will be shared after this.

The finalization of retentions and trades is expected to occur in preparation for the HBL PSL 9 Player Draft, tentatively planned for mid-December, following the conclusion of the National T20 tournament.

It must be noted that earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the window for the 2024 edition of the PSL last month.

The window for the upcoming season has been set between February 8 to March 24, 2024, with the final schedule to be confirmed during the next meeting.

Furthermore, the ninth season, set to take place, will feature six teams, with no plans to introduce any additional teams for the upcoming season.
