Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide 86.405 million dollars loan for Pehur High Canal Extension Project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Pakistan and ADB in Islamabad on Friday. Secretary Economic Affairs Division Tariq Pasha and Country Director ADB Xiaohong Yang signed the agreement.
According to agreement, 20 water courses will be constructed in Janda Boka-Malikabad and 86 water courses in Indus Amber area of KPK. The Project will be completed by June 2023.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who also witnessed the signing ceremony, said full assistance is also providing to provinces to complete their on-going projects.
