President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan says AJK government will strive to provide the best possible health facilities to its citizens, especially the people living in far flung areas of the state.

He made these remarks during a briefing given at the District Headquarter Hospital, Hattian. The President was informed that DHQ Hattian is providing free emergency services to the people of the area. The hospital was upgraded to the status of DHQ in November last year.

The newly constructed building could be expanded to 100 beds from present is 50 bed. Sardar Masood Khan assured that facilities of the DHQ will be upgraded, and the requisite budget will be increased to cater to the increasing number of patients.
