Khartoum (IINA) � There are broad prospects for the success of Sudanese-Turkish strategic partnership under the great political support of the two countries' leaderships, said Eng. Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, assistant to the president of Sudan.
He made the remarks during a meeting here that brought together Turkish businessmen with their Sudanese counterparts, in the presence of Sudan's Minister of Investment Mubarak Al-Fadhil Al-Mahdi.
Mahmoud revealed that the concerned parties in Sudan embarked on the arrangements for receiving Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Khartoum during the coming days. He pointed out that the Turkish president will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including state officials and businessmen.
The Sudanese official noted that Sudan has a strategic location, tremendous resources and membership in regional Arab and African organizations, stressing that Sudan is qualified to represent an entrance for the Turkish products to the African and Gulf markets.
According to Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the meeting reviewed the investment opportunities and the comparative advantages Sudan enjoys.
