Punjab Chief Minister and PML (N) President Shahbaz Sharif visited MQM Headquarter in Karachi on Sunday and held talks with the party leadership.
On arrival, Shahbaz Sharif was given a warm welcome by MQM Pakistan Bahadurabad Group leadership including Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Kunwar Naveed Jameel.
Talking to media after the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said his meeting with MQM Bahadurabad leadership was successful. He said former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took the decision to start operation across the board to restore peace in Karachi.
He said PML-N will continue to support MQM Pakistan in its agenda to make Karachi city again city of lights.
Responding to a question about electricity, Shahbaz Sharif said K-Electric is responsible for the crisis.
Speaking on the occasion, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that we are being ruled by a party that has fake majority in the province.
He said we have conveyed our concerns to Shahbaz Sharif especially regarding the census in which Karachi's population has been shown far less than its real numbers.
