Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will embark Thursday on a two-day visit to Sudan, for talks with his Sudanese counterpart Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
In a press statement, Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt Ambassador Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Halim described the Egyptian president's anticipated visit to Khartoum as an important one and comes in the context of the continued contact between the leaders of the two countries. The trip is also in response to the recent visit by President Bashir to Egypt.
He added that the Sudanese-Egyptian summit will focus on the exchange of views on means of consolidating the bilateral relations as well as the current developments in the region and other issues of mutual concern.
