German-Pakistani nun Dr Ruth Pfau died in Karachi on Thursday.
She made Pakistan her homeland and devoted her life in service of Tuberculosis and leprosy patients in Pakistan.
President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have expressed deep grief and sorrow over Dr Ruth Pfau's death.
The President said the whole Pakistani nation salutes Dr Pfau for her exemplary services for the country.
The Prime Minister in his message said she came to Pakistan at the dawn of a young nation looking to make lives better for those afflicted by disease.
He said we will remember her for her courage, loyalty, service to the eradication of leprosy, and most of all, patriotism.
