Hearing of the case regarding provision of contaminated water for drinking to the people in Sindh has started in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry.
Three member bench of the apex court headed by Chief justice Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar is hearing the case.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and former City Nazim Karachi appeared before the court on Wednesday.
During the hearing the Chief Justice said provision of potable drinking water to the people is the prime responsibility of the government.
Petitioner of the case Advocate Shuhab Osto said contaminated water is being provided to the eighty percent people in Sindh.
