Aden, The Houthi militia has indiscriminately shelled populated villages in three districts of the Governorate of Al Bayda, in central Yemen. Local sources said the rebel militia fired Katyusha rockets and tank shells in densely populated districts of Al Quraishyah, Az Zahir and Radman Al Awad.
The website of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense quoted the sources as saying that the militia, stationed in al-Thaaleb mountain overlooking the Directorate of Qifa, shelled the village of Kalb in al-Quraishyah Directorate. The militia also targeted, from its positions in the Kaidan area, the communities of al-Mohsen villages in Az Zahir Directorate, using BMP shells, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The sources added that the militia bombed Al Alaw district of Radman al-Awad Directorate, from its positions in Wahabiya district of As Sawadiyah Directorate, using Katyusha rockets. There were no reports of the casualties resulting from the Houthi bombardment on these communities.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia continues its repeated violations, indiscriminate bombardment of residential areas using various types of weapons, on an almost daily basis, in different areas of Al-Bayda Governorate.
