Prime Minister Imran Khan says government has introduced a comprehensive reform programme in the health sector.

Chairing a meeting regarding development projects in health sector in Punjab, the Prime Minister said the masses have to face immense difficulties during the coronavirus pandemic due to negligence of the past regimes who were failed to accord due priority to the health sector.

The Prime Minister directed for utilization of all available resources for timely completion of the health projects.

He further directed for taking immediate measures for provision of quality health facilities and sanitation in all major hospitals of the province.

Imran Khan appreciated provision of insurance to the people under Sehat Sahulat programme.

He directed for preparation of a comprehensive plan for upgradation of capacities of the health centers and hospitals.

The Prime Minister also directed for strict implementation of all precautionary measures and Standard Operating Procedures during Eid-ul-Azha and Muharram-ul-Haram.
