Aqaba City � Jordanian King Abdullah and Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan discussed means of expanding cooperation between the two countries in various domains, especially in economic spheres.
King Abdullah underlined the need to build on Singapore prime minister's visit to the Kingdom last year and the free trade agreement between the two countries, which will contribute to increasing the volume of two-way investments.
The meeting held here on Saturday also touched on counter-terror efforts, in addition to Jordan's endeavors led by the King to highlight the true image of Islam, Petra reported.
Balakrishnan expressed his country's appreciation of Jordan's pivotal role in achieving security and stability in the region. He stressed Singapore's keenness to expand cooperation with the Kingdom and move it to advanced levels to serve common interests.
