The 15th anniversary of the devastating earthquake of 2005 is being observed tomorrow (on Thursday).
Different organizations have arranged functions to mark the day.
It was 8 October 2005, when an earthquake of seven point six intensity struck the country causing widespread human and material losses in Hazara division and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Meanwhile, In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the 15th anniversary of 2005 earthquake will also be observed tomorrow to pay tribute to the martyrs of calamity.
It will public holiday in the region.
The day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for the martyrs and prosperity of the country.
One minute silence will be observed at all district headquarters at 08.54 am.
Main prayer ceremony will be held at university ground Muzaffarabad tomorrow morning.
AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider will lay floral wreath at Martyrs’ Memorial.
