Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has said a national policy is being formulated to check the dengue virus.
Chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Monday, he said dengue cases are declining in Rawalpindi and the federal capital due to the effective steps taken by the government.
He said fumigation and spray is being carried out on large scale in the twin cities.
The meeting was attended by Executive Directors of Hospitals and representatives of twin cities administrations.
