Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Supreme Judge of the Palestinian Shariah Courts, stated Friday that the Guest Program of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj and Umrah has done great strides in alleviating the pain of his fellow citizens who have lost loved ones in their struggle for the liberation of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement to the Union of OIC News Agencies, he said: Families of Palestinian martyrs were warmly welcomed by King Salman's Program, which enabled them to perform Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam. He pointed out that the program has benefitted Palestinians for 10 years, underlining that 13,000 Palestinian pilgrims performed their Hajj within the program.
He said: Hajj of 2018 is the most facilitated season I witnessed in more than 20 years. It is also the most distinguished in terms of ease of movement, transportation, entry and exit, with impeccable services provided in the administrative, health, and security sectors.
Al-Habash attributed this great success to the enormous efforts exerted by the government of Saudi Arabia.
