Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is likely at scattered places in Islamabad, upper Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.
The rain recorded in various cities during the last 12 hours: Chakwal thirty millimeters, Lahore twenty-one, Gujranwala fourteen, Islamabad/Rawalpindi thirteen, Sialkot twelve, Jhelum and Joharabad eleven, Mangla and Sargodha ten millimeters.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday morning:
Islamabad six degree centigrade, Lahore eight, Karachi eleven, Peshawar seven, Quetta minus four, Gilgit three, Murree minus one and Muzaffarabad four degree centigrade.
According to the synoptic situation, an active westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Wednesday.
