Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal visited Muzaffarabad today [Saturday].
During his visit he reviewed the situation of coronavirus and the steps taken by the government to tackle it.
Azad Kashmir Health Minister Dr Najib Naqi Khan and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Chairman NDMA was apprised of the steps taken in Azad Kashmir to tackle coronavirus.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman NDMA said that 20 beds will be provided with oxygen supply in Combine Medical Hospital Muzaffarabad.
He said 60 ICU beds will be provided to three hospitals in Azad Kashmir.
The Chairman said NDMA will also provide 30 cardiac monitors and 8 portable X-ray machines to Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
