Punjab and Chinese Province Hubei Houchangan have agreed to promote cooperation in diverse fields on sustainable grounds.

The understanding came at a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chinese delegation led by Secretary Communist Party of Chinese Province Hubei Houchangan in Lahore on Friday.

The two sides formed a joint committee to recommend measures to promote bilateral cooperation.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said Chinese President Xi Jinping's vision of One Belt One Road will benefit the entire region.

Houchangan said the concrete steps taken by the Punjab government has made the province economically strong.
