Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the provincial government has decided to take strict actions against sugar mafia.
Talking to media in Rawalpindi today (Thursday), she said the government will regulate the business of sugar and strict legislations will be made in this regard.
She said that the government also decided to import two hundred thousand ton sugar to meet the shortage.
She said provincial government is committed to ensure all possible facilities to the farmers and bold steps are being taken in this regard.
She said that notification regarding increase in salaries of provincial government will be issued very soon as per decision of Federal Government.
