Director General Audit local bodies Qadir Bux Baloach called on Governor Sindh Imran Ismail at Governor's House in Karachi today (Tuesday).

The Director General Audit presented the audit report of local bodies department for 2020-21 and apprised him in detail of the steps taken in this regard.

Speaking on this occasion, Governor Sindh said that government could provide immediate relief to the people at their door steps through local bodies department.

He directed that process of transparency be insured in the organization through audit.

He also directed to the Director General Audit that audit in the organization be ensured without any pressure and discrimination.

He said there is pivotal role of audit department in elimination of corruption in the province.
