Three terrorists were killed on Tuesday after an exchange of fire with Rangers in Ittehad Town area of the metropolis, while two Rangers personnel sustained injuries in the action.
The encounter took place when Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, conducted an intelligence-driven action at the suspected hideouts of the terrorists of banned outfit in Ittehad Town, according to a press release issued here.
It said the terrorists resorted to firing and tried to escape. During exchange of fire three terrorists were killed, while two Rangers soldiers were injured.
The area police were called in, and recovered weapons and ammunition were handed over to police, it added.
A search operation was being carried out in the area.
