GB Govt establishes Model village for flood affecteed in Ghizer

Gilgit Baltistan government has established state of the art model village for flood affectees of Buber area of district Ghizer.

According to Chief Secretary Office Gilgit Baltistan the Bado Dass Model Village project is one of its kind, and inter-alia includes state of the art prefab housing units.

The work on-site is being carried out at a rapid pace, and it shall be completed in all respects by this month.

49 Prefab housing units, water tank and lifting mechanism through pipelines have been completed. The sewerage system, along with the establishment of septic tanks and laying down of pipelines and all allied components is in progress. Work on 5.5 Km metalled Road completed and compound wall is in progress.

On direction of Chief Secretary Muhiyyudin Wani a rigorous campaign for tree plantation has been launched by the Forest Department to make ecosystem of the village more environmentally friendly.
