GBDWP approves 1MW hydel power project on Hunza

Gilgit Baltistan departmental Working party in its meeting held in Gilgit approved one MW hydel power project in Chapurson,Upper Hunza.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Secretary Mohiyuddin Ahmed as chairman of DDWP.

The meeting recommended two hydel power projects of two MW capacity in Shigher and Sarmic to higher forum for approval.

It may be mentioned here that power department will complete twenty hydel power projects in current financial year.
