NA speaker accepts resignations of 35 MNAs

Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has accepted resignations of 35 members of the National Assembly and consequently de-notified by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Those, whose resignations were accepted and consequently de-notified today, include PTI leaders Pervaiz Khattak, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Omar Ayub, Murad Saeed, Asad Qaisar, , Shehryar Afridi,Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Ali Amin Gandapur, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Ali Nawaz Awan, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Hammad Azhar, Shafqat Mahmood, Amir Dogar, Zartaj Gul, and Qasim Khan Suri.

The Speaker also accepted the resignations of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed of Awami Muslim League as well as PTI women lawmakers elected on reserved seats like Aliya Hamza Malik and Kanwal Shauzab.
