Planning Minister emphasizes aligning Pakistan’s development with SDGs

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the importance of aligning Pakistan’s developmental trajectory with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Addressing the National SDGs Conference 2024 in Islamabad today, he stressed to rally behind a unified agenda of economic prosperity to become one of the top ten global economies by 2047.

The Minister highlighted the need for sustainable practices, private sector involvement and media engagement to raise public awareness about the SDGs.

Ahsan Iqbal reiterated government’s commitment to inclusive development, prioritizing citizens’ well-being and safeguarding future generations’ interests.
