PM waives off all educational expenses for students from Balochistan, erstwhile FATA studying in IUB

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has waived off all educational expenses for students from Balochistan and erstwhile FATA studying in Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB).

A notification to this effect has been issued by the university.

According to the notification, federal government will pay fifty percent of students’ fee whereas rest of the fifty percent will be paid by the university.

This step has been taken to encourage students of Balochistan and formerly FATA to pursue their higher education.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, the Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur, Dr. Athar Mahboob welcomed the decision of Prime Minister to waive off all educational expenses for students from Balochistan and former FATA studying in the university.

He said sixteen hundred students will benefit from this hall mark decision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
