Srinagar: Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred over 991 Kashmiris including 20 women since August 5, 2019, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Radio Pakistan, the entire occupied Kashmir has been turned into an open-air prison under Indian military and police siege. Thousands of Hurriyat leaders, political and human rights activists, religious heads, journalists, businessmen, youth, and activists were arrested after or before August 5, 2019, under black laws, and still continue to remain in Tihar and other jails of India and the occupied territory. Meanwhile, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar has said that the Hindutva-inspired BJP government is publishing fake reports of so-called peace and development in the territory. He said the Kashmiris do not demand development but their foremost demand is a plebiscite under the UN supervision so that they can decide their fate by themselves.
