Narowal: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal announced that the agriculture census currently being conducted by the federal government will play a pivotal role in increasing the per acre yield of crops. The Minister urged the field force involved in the census to collect precise and comprehensive data, as this initiative is vital for the country's development. Furthermore, Iqbal noted that the agriculture statistics obtained from the census would provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by farmers across Pakistan. He also reiterated the Prime Minister's vision to modernize the agricultural sector over the next five years, with a focus on boosting productivity. The Minister concluded by emphasizing the necessity of adopting contemporary practices across all sectors to ensure sustainable growth and development.
