Muzaffarabad:Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi has called upon members of the European Parliament to actively participate in bringing international attention to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Naqi made this appeal during a meeting with a delegation of European Parliament members who visited him in Muzaffarabad. The discussions centered around the human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the role of the international community in fostering lasting peace in the region.

The AJK President emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized conflict that has remained unresolved for decades. He voiced concerns about the serious human rights issues in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and urged international human rights organizations to scrutinize the situation closely.

During their visit, the European delegation also explored special stalls at the Presidency, which showcased Kashmiri culture, tourism, and mineral resources. The event featured local artists and singers performing cultural pieces, and a documentary highlighting the tourist attractions, natural beauty, and cultural heritage of Azad Kashmir was screened.
