Lahore: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that all mourning processions across the country, organized to mark the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (RA), will conclude by the time of Maghrib prayers tomorrow. He made this statement during a meeting with prominent religious scholars in Lahore.
According to Radio Pakistan, detailed discussions took place during the meeting to ensure a foolproof security plan for the mourning processions and gatherings. The goal is to maintain peace and security throughout the events.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of promoting brotherhood, harmony, and unity among the people in the current circumstances. He urged religious scholars to play a vital role in fostering these values during the observance of the martyrdom day.
