Islamabad: Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Kashmir is an established group and members hold meetings frequently on the sidelines of OIC meetings. They also hold regular meetings in New York because they have permanent representatives there. In these meetings, they renew their commitment to the Kashmir cause and support the right to self-determination of Kashmiris in accordance with the UN resolutions. Thus, it is a very important forum for Pakistan and Kashmiris to highlight the importance of the outstanding issue between Pakistan and India. This forum has reiterated that relations between Pakistan and India will remain strained and peace in South Asia will remain fragile without the resolution of the Kashmir issue. According to Radio Pakistan, pressure on Israel is increasing day by day because Europeans are voicing their anger regularly over the ongoing situation of Palestinians in Gaza. After the meeting with the Arab Islamic-Islamic summit with President Donald Trump, the US i s also feeling the pressure. Therefore, there is hope that better sense will prevail and the US, the lone supporter of Israel, will make some sensible decisions to stop the situation involving Palestinians by Israeli forces. The unresolved disputes and ongoing conflicts in the world are pressing the global order and system devised after World War II; therefore, this system needs to be revamped to make it more effective in making the world more peaceful and secure for human beings and help in the resolution of unresolved issues.
