Three-day 281st Annual Urs celebrations of mystic poet and Great Sufi saint of Sub-Continent Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (R.A) began at Bhit Shah in Matiari district today. Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Tessori inaugurated the Urs while laying floral wreath at shrine and offered fateha. He listened raag of Bhittai and distributed cloths among needy people. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that Shah Abdul Latif has given message of love, peace and interfaith harmony. He said through his message extremism can be eradicated from the country. The Urs celebrations include, literary conference, cultural village, Latif Award, handicraft show, Sugharan Ji Katchery, Malakhra and concert. Source: Radio Pakistan
