Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has asserted that the BJP-led Indian government has deprived the people of the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir of their fundamental and constitutional rights. The APHC emphasized the increasing suppression of dissent and freedoms in the region.
According to Radio Pakistan,APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas stated that India is deploying military, police, and intelligence forces to intimidate the Kashmiri populace and quell any opposition. The spokesperson called upon the international community to take action against what he described as "Hindutva fascism" under the administration of Manoj Sinha.
Civil society members in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have continued to voice their resistance, declaring that no level of violence or coercion will deter the Kashmiri people from their steadfast pursuit of freedom.
Notable figures from the civil society in the region have highlighted in media interviews that tactics such as bullets, arrests, and torture will not break the resolve of Kashmiris, who remain committed to their UN-mandated right to self-determination. They conveyed a strong message of defiance to the Modi-led Indian regime, affirming their willingness to face any adversity but refusing to capitulate to India's domination.
These civil society members further cautioned that the RSS-backed Indian regime's attempts to impose a communal agenda in Kashmir will ultimately be unsuccessful.
