  • RIX Industries Partners with Build Health International to Bring Medical Oxygen Compressor Training to Africa

New program at Kigali College of Rwanda Polytechnic puts RIX factory-level compressor training within reach of hospital biomedical technicians across the continent

BENICIA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — RIX Industries, a recognized leader in advanced gas compression, gas generation, and precision-engineered technologies, today announced a formal training partnership with Build Health International (BHI), a nonprofit organization specializing in designing and building healthcare infrastructure in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Through the partnership, BHI will deliver RIX factory-equivalent training on high-pressure oxygen compressors at its training center at Kigali College of Rwanda Polytechnic in collaboration with the Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC). This program provides the hands-on technical instruction biomedical technicians need to keep equipment running across sub-Saharan Africa.

The Kigali training center houses RIX 2PS and RIX 2V3 compressors alongside an operating pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plant and oxygen distribution system. Sessions cover booster compressor safety, routine maintenance, component identification, and troubleshooting.

“Access to medical oxygen is one of the most fundamental gaps in healthcare across sub-Saharan Africa, and a well-maintained compressor is the difference between a hospital that can provide care and one that cannot,” said Andrew L. Johnston, Director of Medical Oxygen and Training, Build Health International. “A primary barrier to effective maintenance in many contexts is the lack of the required knowledge and skills. This partnership with RIX closes that gap by bringing factory-level instruction to Kigali in a way that is practical, affordable, and sustainable.”

RIX and BHI have worked together informally for years. RIX compressors can be found in hospitals throughout Africa, which prompted BHI’s biomedical teams to build some of the most widely used repair guides and video resources available for that equipment. To launch the formal program, RIX sent two of its U.S.-based engineers to Kigali to train the full BHI Rwanda team on the 2PS and 2V3. The BHI team then demonstrated their readiness by training an in-person cohort of biomedical engineers from Ethiopia while the RIX engineers observed. At the end of the training, one Rwanda Polytechnic biomedical faculty member commented that the training experience felt like being transported from Africa to the RIX factory.

“RIX oxygen compressors are a standard sight in hospitals across Africa, but equipment requires maintenance and getting people in the region trained to maintain it has been a longstanding issue,” said Doug Richmond, Technical Sales Manager, RIX Industries. “BHI has been in the field with these systems for years, and they know exactly what technicians need to know. Partnering with them to bring that training to Rwanda means we can reach the people who need it most, at a cost that works for them.”

BHI has trained more than 2,700 biomedical and management personnel across 41 countries since 2022, 31 of them in Africa. Its Rwanda team supports real-time remote troubleshooting channels that hospital biomeds across the continent use when equipment goes down. The team has also produced some of the most widely circulated open-access repair guides and instructional videos available for RIX equipment — resources that are free and used by technicians who have never attended formal training.

The training program is a targeted market-shaping intervention that has the potential to increase demand for spare parts and consumables and increase production of bottled medical oxygen. BHI views this partnership with RIX, the leading provider of booster compressors, as well aligned with its mission of improving the quality of healthcare in low-resource settings through increasing access to medical oxygen. RIX booster compressor training is an investment in both RIX’s continued growth in Africa and in emerging markets more broadly and in ensuring the availability of lifesaving medical oxygen.

Training sessions are open to biomedical technicians, distributors, hospital equipment operators, and others with a professional need to work on RIX compression systems. Biomedical technicians, distributors, and equipment operators can reach BHI through bhioxygen.org or contact RIX Industries directly for information on upcoming program dates and availability.

Bitget Marks 8 Years With UEX Vision Built for Perfect Trades

VICTORIA, Seychelles, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), is marking its eighth anniversary under the theme “8uilt for Perfect Trades,” celebrating eight years of trading innovation as the platform enters its next phase of growth across crypto, traditional markets and institutional trading.

This comes a year in which Bitget accelerated its Universal Exchange strategy, bringing a wider range of global markets into one trading platform. At the peak, non-crypto assets accounted for 40% of total trading volume, while both TradFi perpetual contracts and CFDs have surpassed $10 billion in daily trading volume.

Over the past year, Bitget launched stock perpetual contracts, US stock options and Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts, while rToken surpassed $100 million in AUM within five weeks and has now recorded more than 3 million cumulative transactions. One in four new Bitget users now begins their trading journey with rToken. Bitget has also expanded its AI trading capabilities with AI Playbook, its autonomous trading agent.

“Eight years in crypto feels a lot longer than eight years anywhere else. We’ve lived through multiple cycles, watched entire narratives come and go, and seen the market grow up very quickly,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “The exciting part is that we’re still early in what trading can become. Crypto and traditional markets are converging, AI is changing the trading experience, and institutional participation is accelerating. UEX is our bet on where all of that is heading, and the next chapter for Bitget will be much bigger than crypto alone.”

Bitget is also expanding the infrastructure supporting that growth. For its eighth anniversary, Proof of Reserves coverage will increase from four to 24 verifiable assets, while its Protection Fund maintained an average valuation of approximately $382 million in August 2026. The expansion comes alongside continued investment in security, market integrity and compliance as the range of assets available through Bitget grows.

Institutional trading will be a major priority as Bitget enters its ninth year. As of Q2 2026, institutional client net assets had grown 45% compared with the end of 2025, while core active market makers increased from 90 to 248 firms. Bitget plans to further strengthen execution quality, API and quantitative trading infrastructure, institutional services and its cross-asset account capabilities.

The eighth anniversary will be celebrated across Bitget’s global community through KCGI 2026, featuring a 3 million USDT prize pool, alongside VIP programs, product-community activities and offline events across multiple regions.

As Bitget enters its ninth year, the focus remains on the idea that has shaped its development from the beginning: improving how people trade. UEX brings that ambition across a much larger universe of markets, with the next phase focused on making that experience deeper, more efficient and accessible at scale.

  • Zoom unveils AI-powered revenue OS to unify buyer intelligence, customer conversations, and revenue execution

    • Debuts Common Room availability through Zoom and rolls out new Zoom Revenue Accelerator capabilities, Engage and Forecast, fueling the company’s vision for an AI-powered revenue OS built on customer conversations and deal intelligence

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, Zoom Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZM) introduced its vision for an AI-powered revenue OS: a unified system that connects buyer intelligence, customer conversations, and revenue execution in one platform — from the first anonymous signal through pipeline generation, conversion, and expansion.

Today, the company also announced new Zoom Revenue Accelerator capabilities, including Engage and Forecast, and the availability of Common Room by Zoom. Together, these capabilities connect buyer intelligence, conversation intelligence, outreach, and forecasting — helping go-to-market teams move from customer signal to action in one system.

“Revenue isn’t built in a single sales call. It’s built across a relationship — every signal a customer sends, every conversation a seller has, and every action that follows adds valuable context,” said Linda Lian, GM of Common Room and Zoom Revenue Accelerator at Zoom. “Bringing more of that context together can give AI a deeper understanding of the customer — what they care about, what’s happened before, and where they are in their journey. That understanding is what enables AI to help determine the right action to take next, so revenue teams can engage customers more effectively and drive growth.”

Zoom is building on an established foundation in revenue technology. Zoom customer, Barracuda Networks, reported a 15% increase in deals closed, 5% faster deal velocity, and sales reps reaching 100–140% of quota using Zoom Revenue Accelerator. Meanwhile, IDC has recognized Zoom as a Leader in its 2026 MarketScape for unified revenue orchestration.

    New innovations:

    • Engage: Builds structured multichannel sales sequences across email, phone, and other tasks, prioritizes seller follow-up, and uses automated triggers to help teams reach the right prospects at scale.
    • Forecast: Turns deal-level signals into a live forecast, with drill-down from company commitments to individual opportunities.
    • ZRA Elite: Combines ZRA Premium with Engage and Forecast in a new offering for revenue teams.
    • Common Room by Zoom: Connects buyer and customer signals across the lifecycle and is now available for purchase through Zoom.

A revenue OS centered on the conversation

Countless customer conversations happen on Zoom every day that contain information that matters to a deal and a customer relationship. It’s in this context that sellers can learn quickly what a buyer cares about, the objections they raise, who is involved in a decision, what they agree to do next, and what may move an opportunity forward or stall it.

Zoom is building its revenue OS around the customer conversation, connecting what teams learn from talking to buyers to power the same tools they use to prospect, sell, follow up, and forecast.

Over time, that creates a continuous learning loop: buyer signals, outreach, conversations, actions, and deal outcomes build a deeper understanding of the customer and help teams make each interaction more relevant and determine what to do next.

    Turn buyer signals into action

Common Room connects customer identity, activity, engagement, and signals from sources such as product usage, digital activity, and online communities, to help teams build a more complete understanding of people and accounts. That helps identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, spot potential expansion or churn risks, and determine the most relevant next action.

Engage turns intelligence into structured outreach across email, phone, and other channels, while giving sellers prioritized actions for who to contact and when.

Additionally, Zoom’s existing Auto Dialer (available separately) supports Engage calling tasks, while sequence analytics show teams which outreach approaches are working.

Understand where deals and the business are headed

Forecast brings deal and customer intelligence into revenue forecasting, giving leaders a real-time view of commitments, deal movement, and the opportunities behind the numbers. Leaders can drill down from the company-wide forecast to individual teams, sellers, and deals, track how they change over time, and see whether teams are on pace to hit their goals.

Revenue operations teams can configure forecast views, metrics, and calculations without engineering support, and write commitment and deal updates back to the CRM system. Because Forecast works with ZRA, leaders can evaluate the number alongside the conversation and deal history behind it, connecting customer understanding to the forecast within the revenue OS.

Revenue OS: Designed to scale with businesses

Zoom’s revenue OS allows organizations to adopt the level of intelligence and execution that fits their business, with the flexibility to grow as they scale. Zoom Revenue Accelerator is available in three tiers: Essentials, Premium, and the new Elite offering, which includes Engage and Forecast. Customers can extend their revenue OS with Common Room by Zoom for buyer and customer intelligence across the revenue lifecycle. ZRA and Common Room also remain available as standalone products. More information and pricing details can be found on Zoom.com.

  • EBC Financial Group Named Best CFD Provider – Global at Global Forex Awards 2026

Award reaffirms EBC Financial Group’s commitment to regulatory accountability and consistent execution for clients navigating fast-moving markets

LIMASSOL, Cyprus, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EBC Financial Group (EBC) has been named Best CFD Provider – Global in the Global Forex Awards 2026 – Retail, further extending the Group’s international recognition and reaffirming its commitment to delivering reliable access to global markets while reinforcing the regulatory and infrastructural standards behind its trading environment.

The Global Forex Awards is one of the retail forex industry’s most closely watched recognition programmes. The 2026 edition attracted more than 25,000 public votes, the highest participation in the awards’ history, with winners recognised across global and regional categories spanning Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa.

For EBC, this Best CFD Provider – Global recognition reflects a broader priority: building a trading environment where regulatory discipline, institutional-grade infrastructure, and consistent execution work together, especially as market conditions grow more complex.

Regulatory accountability as the foundation of trust

EBC’s operating entities hold financial licences calibrated to the products and clients each is authorised to serve, with regulatory status independently verifiable rather than simply claimed. Client funds are held in segregated accounts, separate from the Group’s own operating funds, and further protected by professional indemnity insurance arranged through the Group’s institutional insurers. Each entity operates within the specific regulatory framework of its own jurisdiction, reflecting EBC’s view that accountability is built entity by entity rather than asserted at group level.

Institutional-grade infrastructure, extended to every client

EBC connects to more than 50 Tier-1 banking and non-bank liquidity providers, aggregating interbank pricing into raw ECN spreads from 0.0 pips with five-level market depth. Order execution averages under 20 milliseconds, more than 87.6% of orders are executed at improved prices, and system stability stands at 98.75%. Eligible professional clients can also access liquidity clearing accounts with leverage of up to 100:1, while high-volume traders use EBC Private Room, a dedicated channel designed to protect trading information from market targeting.

Access spans forex, commodities, indices, precious metals and energy, as well as US stocks and ETFs, across more than 100 countries, supported by EBC’s international network of local teams.

“Being recognised as Best CFD Provider – Global is meaningful because the quality of CFD trading is ultimately measured by what clients experience when they enter the market: the reliability of their access, the consistency of execution and the conditions available to them when markets move quickly,” said Andria Phiniefs, Marketing Director, EBC Financial Group.

“Our responsibility is to keep strengthening the infrastructure and service behind that experience. As EBC continues to grow internationally, we remain focused on pairing global market access with high operational institutional-grade standards and local expertise, so clients can approach opportunities across markets with greater confidence.”

A global award shaped by an increasingly engaged trading community

The Global Forex Awards – Retail have grown alongside an increasingly sophisticated global trading community. With more than 25,000 public votes cast in the 2026 programme and nearly 295,000 verified votes recorded across Holiston Media awards to date, this year represented the awards’ highest level of participation so far.

Commenting on the 2026 winners, Archie Humphries, Director of Holiston Media, said, “The Global Forex Awards 2026 – Retail have once again shown the depth of excellence throughout the industry, with many returning names and some new faces taking home awards. This year’s winners continue to make their mark within the industry and will now benefit from increased brand awareness, enhanced credibility and an elevated level of trust from their traders and industry peers alike.”

Building on a year of global recognition

The latest award extends a strong run of international recognition for EBC in 2026. Earlier this year, EBC received two global honours at the World Finance Forex Awards 2026, where it was named Most Trusted FX Broker and Best CFD Broker, the fourth consecutive year the Group has been recognised by World Finance. Together, the awards highlight complementary dimensions of EBC’s development: the trust and consistency expected of a global financial services provider, and the infrastructure, execution and market conditions underpinning its offering.

As trading markets become more interconnected and clients gain access to an expanding range of global opportunities, EBC continues to invest in technology, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, institutional-grade infrastructure and client support, while strengthening its presence across key markets. Today, EBC serves clients in more than 100 countries, with over 5 million registered users and more than USD390 billion in average monthly trading volume, supported by regulated entities operating across major financial jurisdictions and local teams providing market insight and support across regions.

The Best CFD Provider – Global recognition at the Global Forex Awards 2026 – Retail therefore represents more than the performance of a single product category. It reflects the standard EBC is working to maintain as it scales globally: regulatory accountability, institutional-grade infrastructure, and dependable market access for every client.
