China has reaffirmed its support for Pakistan's sovereignty, territorial integrity, economic development, progress, and prosperity. The support was expressed by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong during the inauguration of the CPEC Corner at the library of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. He said that China attaches special importance to Pakistan in its foreign policy, considering it an iron brother and a trusted friend, and looks forward to further strengthening strategic ties between the two countries. In his remarks, Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi underscored the significance of bilateral friendship for regional peace and stability. He expressed Pakistan's readiness to further expand and strengthen bilateral ties in all areas of cooperation, emphasizing that the Pakistan-China friendship enjoys complete political, institutional, and public support in Pakistan.
