Lahore: A delegation of Chinese investors met with Punjab Minister for Industry and Commerce, Chaudhry Shafi Hussain in Lahore today. The delegation expressed interest in exploring opportunities to boost investment and cooperation in Punjab's health, education, agriculture, and electric vehicle (EV) sectors. They also expressed interest in setting up an electric vehicle assembly plant and chemical manufacturing facilities in Punjab. According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Huawei Group announced a training initiative aimed at equipping 260,000 Pakistani students with ICT skills, initially focusing on Punjab. The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance technological capabilities and foster skill development in the region.
