Rawalpindi: Chief of South African Air Force Lieutenant General Wiseman Simo Mbambo met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at Joint Staff Headquarters.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on a wide range of areas concerning mutual interest and bilateral cooperation. Discussions highlighted practical measures to expand engagements between the military forces of both nations.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the broader geopolitical landscape. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza shared Pakistan's perspective on the evolving regional security environment and underscored Pakistan's contributions to regional peace and stability.

Lieutenant General Wiseman Simo Mbambo praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
