Rawalpindi: Lieutenant General Md Faizur Rahman, Quarter Master General of the Bangladesh Army, met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in Rawalpindi. The meeting focused on the security environment in the region and emphasized the mutual commitment to strengthening defence and security collaboration between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

According to Radio Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza underscored the growing relationship between the two nations and explored potential new areas for defence cooperation. The Bangladeshi dignitary praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in combating terrorism.
