Meanwhile, Inspector General Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Additional IG Special Branch, Additional IG CTD, and senior officers have departed for Rahim Yar Khan. IG Punjab confirmed the martyrdom of nine police personnel so far in a rocket launcher attack on police vehicles in the Kacha area, with reports of several other officers injured.
