CM Punjab seeks comprehensive plan for export of pink salt

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has sought a comprehensive plan for export of pink salt. Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she directed to take measures for putting a ban on export of raw pink salt which is like a treasure for the country. The Chief Minister directed to ensure safety of mine workers. The meeting discussed the proposal of using modern technology to explore and extract natural resources. The meeting also discussed setting up a value added industry for pink salt. Source: Radio Pakistan
