Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has emphasized the necessity for unified efforts in combating terrorism. Addressing the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, the meeting was presided over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. According to Radio Pakistan, General Munir highlighted that every Pakistani plays a crucial role in the fight against terrorism, regardless of whether they wear a uniform. He asserted that anyone obstructing the nation's security or hindering their mission would face serious repercussions. General Munir also pointed out that the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies are addressing governance challenges by making daily sacrifices. He stressed the importance of the Constitution of Pakistan, which entrusts both internal and external security to their responsibilities.
