Lahore: The 20th death anniversary of the famous comedian of the Pakistani film industry, Khalifa Nazir, was observed on Saturday. Khalifa Nazir was the third most popular comedian in Punjabi films after Rangeela and Munawar Zarif, and he showcased his acting talents in approximately 150 films. According to Radio Pakistan, Khalifa Nazir's notable films include "Bhaiyaan Di Jodi," "Daulat Aur Dunya," "Ghulam," "Ek Dhi Punjab Di," and "Maa Te Qaanun." In addition to his roles in these films, he also played the lead role in the film "Mastana." Khalifa Nazir passed away on this day in 2005 in Lahore, leaving behind a legacy in the Pakistani film industry. His contributions to Punjabi cinema are remembered and celebrated by fans and film enthusiasts alike.
