The death anniversary of famous Pakistani folk singer Muhammad Jumman Khan is being observed today (Wednesday). He remained associated with Radio Pakistan and performed first from Karachi and then Hyderabad radio station. During his association with Radio Pakistan Hyderabad, he also got the opportunity to compose music. He sang hundreds of Sindhi, Balochi and Saraiki songs amd ghazals, but he got nationwide fame by singing 'Yar Dadhi Ishq Atash Lai Hai'. He received several awards, including Pride of Performance, Shah Abdul Latif and Sachal Sarmast award. Source: Radio Pakistan
