Born on December 31, 1942, Jamshed Ansari is remembered for his significant contributions to the Pakistani entertainment industry, particularly through his role as Safdar in the longest-running Pakistani radio program, 'Hamid Mian Kay Haan'. According to Radio Pakistan, Jamshed Ansari's career was marked by versatility and dedication, beginning with his first television play, 'Ghora ghaas khata hai', from Karachi television. Over more than four decades, he contributed to over two hundred TV dramas, three films, and numerous radio programs, leaving a lasting impact on audiences and peers alike. Jamshed Ansari's impressive body of work earned him fifty-five national and two international awards, highlighting his influence and legacy in the arts. His passing on August 24, 2005, in Karachi marked the end of an era, but his contributions continue to be celebrated by fans and colleagues who remember him fondly.
