Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a call today from Netherlands Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen. The two leaders exchanged views on regional developments and reaffirmed the strong relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Netherlands Foreign Minister commended Pakistan's role in facilitating the ceasefire and conveyed support for its continued efforts to promote a diplomatic path toward lasting peace. Both sides expressed concern over serious ceasefire violations in Lebanon and underscored the importance of ensuring full implementation of the ceasefire to achieve sustained peace.
The conversation also highlighted the commitment of both countries to strengthen cooperation in trade, economic, and investment sectors. The leaders expressed their resolve to enhance bilateral ties, reflecting a mutual interest in fostering strong economic partnerships.
