DPM Reaches Kabul on a Day-Long Visit to Afghanistan

Kabul: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in Kabul for a day-long visit to Afghanistan. During this visit, he is expected to engage in significant diplomatic activities aimed at strengthening regional connectivity.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Dar will sign the trilateral Framework Agreement on Joint Feasibility Study for the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway Project. This agreement marks a strategic collaboration between the three countries in enhancing transportation links and fostering economic ties.

The Deputy Prime Minister is accompanied by key officials including the Minister for Railways, the Special Representative for Afghanistan, and the Secretary of Railways. Their presence underscores the importance of the railway project, which is expected to facilitate trade and movement between Central and South Asia.

The visit and the subsequent signing of the agreement highlight ongoing efforts to promote infrastructural development and regional cooperation in the area. The project aims to open up new avenues for economic growth and development across the participating nations.
