DPM, Saudi FM Agree to Remain in Close Contact on Matters of Mutual Interest

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation today with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The two Foreign Ministers exchanged views on regional and international developments, including matters of mutual interest at multilateral fora. They also discussed follow-up on the understandings reached during the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee of the Makkah Defence Alliance, held in Istanbul. The two sides agreed to remain in close contact on matters of mutual interest.

According to Radio Pakistan, the conversation underscored the commitment of both nations to collaborate on various issues of mutual concern. This dialogue is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and ensure consistent communication on strategic matters. Both ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue to navigate regional challenges effectively.
