Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema has expressed appreciation for the European Investment Bank's loan worth 50 million Euros designated for rehabilitation of Warsak Hydro Power Project. He was talking to a delegation of the Bank, led by Head of Asia and Pacific, Edvardas Bumsteinas in Islamabad. The Minister said bilateral engagement will help explore various avenues for enhanced collaboration. The EIB delegation expressed interest in several key projects, including those funded by other international financial institutions. The Bank particularly evinced keen interest on exploring opportunities to provide loans for a range of significant activities. Among these are N-5 road widening, which aims to improve road connectivity and transport efficiency. Additionally, the delegation is interested in renewable and hydro power energy.
