Islamabad: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized the importance of empowering youth through skill development, stating it is an investment in both their future and that of the nation. Dr. Siddiqui made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony in Islamabad, which was organized to honor the graduates of the Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Program.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Siddiqui lauded the program for equipping young Pakistanis with skills that are essential for the future. In recognition of the hard work of the top-performing students, he conducted a raffle draw and personally distributed laptops to several trainees, demonstrating tangible support for their efforts.
Muhammad Aamir Jan, Executive Director of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, reaffirmed the commission's commitment to providing free, high-quality training across a variety of disciplines. This initiative is part of a broader government strategy to reduce unemployment and prepare the youth for jobs in the evolving digital and industrial sectors.
