Quetta: FC Balochistan (North), in collaboration with other departments, has successfully conducted anti-smuggling operations across several areas in Balochistan. According to Radio Pakistan, the operations targeted regions including Dera Murad Jamali, Barkhan, Pishin, Chaman, Zhob, and Nushki, leading to the seizure of significant quantities of smuggled goods. The confiscated items comprised forty metric tons of sugar, twelve metric tons of betel nuts, over seven hundred tyres, and more than twelve hundred cartons of cigarettes. Additionally, rigorous checks at inter-provincial border check posts played a crucial role in preventing the smuggling of 122,096 liters of diesel. These operations are part of ongoing efforts to curb illegal trade and enhance economic stability in the region.
