Five Daanish Schools Approved for Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam announced that the federal government has approved the establishment of five Daanish Schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. These institutions are part of a broader initiative that also includes the continued provision of subsidized wheat and sugar to the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Amir Muqam addressed a public gathering organized by the PML-N in Khari Sharif, Mirpur. During his speech, he emphasized the government's dedication to advancing infrastructure projects such as the proposed Mansehra-Muzaffarabad-Mirpur Expressway. He also informed the audience that work on the Haryam Bridge has resumed, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity in the area.

In addition to infrastructure development, the Minister underscored the importance of extending natural gas facilities to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, indicating that it remains a priority for the federal government. Amir Muqam also took the opportunity to stress that the Kashmir cause should transcend political differences, urging unity on this critical issue.
